Made from 100% Carricante grapes. The name of this ancient native grape originates from the expression “u carricanti”, and is due to the abundant production of the vines and the fact that whole carts were filled up with their grapes.

By controlling the production of the vines, it is now possible to obtain grapes of outstanding quality, which produce wine with great structure and longevity. The combination of the altitude and cool temperatures typical of Etna convey a complex, savoury, intense and elegant flavour to this wine, with fruity notes of green apple and citrus.
